What does Tempus Absumo mean in Latin?

Time before Destruction or Annihilation

Derived from two Latin terms: ‘Tempus’ = time, season, moment, period. ‘Absumo’ = destroy, annihilate, ruin, consume, use, waste. [pronounced: Temp·pus Ab·soo·moe]. The term ‘Tempus Absumo’ is typically used as an abbreviation in biblical research to denote the duration of time parchment or papyrus can survive before it is destroyed and no longer usable. Tempus Absumo can also be thought of in terms of a parchment or papyrus replacement cycle. The terminology and abbreviation were first coined by Peter Arvo within the lecture series called 'The Torchbearer Series' in 2018.
